DV8's Own Shop Build
Why This Jeep Exists
This Wrangler isn't a customer car. It's DV8's own — built in-house as a rolling demonstration of exactly what a Jeep lift kit and leveling kit installed correctly should look and drive like. Every part on it is something we sell and install every week for Jupiter and West Palm Beach customers, sourced from brands like BDS Suspension and Rough Country.
When a customer asks what a certain lift height looks like on a Wrangler, or how a leveling kit sits next to a full suspension lift, this is the Jeep we walk them out to. It's not a stock photo. It's parked outside the shop.
That's the standard every Jeep lift kit at DV8 gets held to — Wrangler, Gladiator, or Grand Cherokee, whether it's a simple leveling kit or a full build.

Serving Jupiter, West Palm Beach & Stuart FL
A Jeep lift kit or leveling kit is one of the easiest upgrades to get wrong — wrong gearing left in, wrong tire size for the fender clearance, an alignment skipped because nobody thought to check it. DV8 Motorsports has been installing Jeep lift kits and leveling kits in Lake Park for 17 years, and the shop's approach hasn't changed: spec the Jeep first, order parts second.
Jupiter and West Palm Beach Jeep owners searching for a lift kit install usually land here after getting a quote somewhere else that didn't account for their trim or tire size. Stuart customers searching for custom wheels for their Jeep run into the same problem — a wheel package that looks right in a photo but doesn't actually fit the lift height they already have. See real builds in our gallery.
DV8 fixes that by checking the platform first. A Wrangler JL, a Gladiator, and a Grand Cherokee all take a lift kit differently — different suspension geometry, different driveline concerns, different tire clearance math. See every service we run or keep reading for exactly how each Jeep platform gets built.
DV8 Motorsports is at 1018 N Federal Hwy in Lake Park — a short drive from Jupiter, West Palm Beach, Stuart, and Palm Beach Gardens. Call 561-840-2023 to start your build.
Every Jeep lift kit or leveling kit installed at DV8 includes an alignment check. On larger lifts running 35-inch tires or bigger, we also walk through a re-gear consultation before the job starts, so the drivetrain isn't left working harder than it should for the life of the vehicle. This isn't an upsell — it's part of doing a Jeep lift kit correctly, and skipping it is exactly how a lift job ends up needing to be redone within a year.
Custom rims and wheel and tire packages for Jeeps get the same treatment. A wheel that looks right in a catalog photo can still rub at full articulation if it isn't checked against the actual lift height and backspacing of the specific Jeep. We fitment-check every wheel and tire package before it goes on, whether it's paired with a leveling kit or a full lift.
Decide Before You Call
The most common question we get from Jupiter and West Palm Beach Jeep owners. Here's the honest breakdown before you spend money on the wrong one.
Built By Platform
JL and JK Wranglers make up most of the Jeep lift kits and leveling kits we install for Jupiter and West Palm Beach customers. Solid front and rear axles make the geometry more forgiving than an independent-suspension platform, but tire size still drives every decision — a 33 on a leveling kit behaves nothing like a 37 on a 4-inch lift.
We check trim, axle ratio, and intended use — trail-driven versus daily-driven — before quoting a lift height.
The Gladiator's extra length changes driveline angles compared to a Wrangler — a lift kit copied straight from a Wrangler spec sheet can leave the rear driveshaft at the wrong angle. We spec Gladiator lifts around the wheelbase, not around what worked on a different Jeep.
The truck bed also opens up rack and bumper accessory questions a Wrangler doesn't have — we factor that in before the lift goes on, not after.
Grand Cherokees run independent front suspension, and some trims came with factory air ride. Both change what a lift kit or leveling kit actually needs to do — an air ride Grand Cherokee is a different job from a coil-sprung one, and we verify which one is in front of us before quoting anything.
Stuart and West Palm Beach Grand Cherokee owners come to DV8 specifically because most shops don't check this before they quote. 17 years of doing it this way is why.
